Fiona is delighted to have been awarded a prestigious 'Developing Your Creative Practice' Grant from Arts Council England. The significant grant is a really important investment in her art practice.
Fiona Grady's project Balancing fragility and permanence: methods for the future is split into three phases: research, making and evaluation. She will be exploring the principles of glass making to create small-scale artworks and large-scale architectural glass installations. Over the next few months, she will work with expert mentors in the fields of glass making, public art and sustainability; participate in workshops and collaborate with architectural glass fabricators to take her career trajectory to the next level.
