Defining Structure: The Cello Factory, London
Defining Structure is a group exhibition of established and emerging artists. The diverse artworks of installation, sculpture, painting, print and virtual reality allude to our complex environment.
Curated by Alex Hinks and Robert Dunt, the exhibition explores how artists bring the world around them to life. Using 'Structure' as the central theme they bring together many diverse interpretations. Structure takes many forms from the organic to the industrial and even to the sublime. The exhibition sets out to represent the spectrum of structure from molecules to universes.
Fiona Grady was invited to create a site-responsive window installation that inhabits the windows of the Cello Factory and present a pair of her Movements screenprints.
Exhibiting artists: Christina Augustesen, Juan Bolivar, Matt Calderwood, Pen Dalton, Benjamin Deakin, Etienne De Villiers, Luke Dowd, Robert Dunt, Vicki Fornieles, Fiona Grady, Jane Harris, Alexander Hinks, Oli Lane, Juliette Losq, Patrick O'Sullivan, Rita Parniczky, Kasper Pincis, Katie Pratt, Henry Tyrrel, Andrea V Wright and Samuel Zealey.

" The work seems to elegantly draw attention, with minimal means, to what is already present but often overlooked: the light that falls, without which no structure can be perceived."October 3, 2018
