Afterglow was commissioned by a client and their architects for a home renovation project in South London. The design brief was to create an artwork that referenced the language of stained glass windows but with a contemporary feel to reflect the client's taste. The large windows are illuminated by exterior daylight to infuse colour and a create an immersive environment. The windows cover four storeys, with bright skylights on the top floor leading to the subterrean lower ground floor. The gradation of colour from a bright sunset palette to cooling purples and blues evokes an ambiance of the suns after glow.
